Kathy Bates in Fried Green Tomatoes when she drives her car into the young woman’s. “I’m younger and prettier” said the young woman. Bates’ response “And I’ve got better insurance” 🤣 Age is all about perspective. Every age has benefits.

I'm 65, hubby is 70. We don't get around as fast as we once did, and joints are certainly cranky (but fairly decent weather forecasters). It sure beats pushing up daisies!

Yes! And Harrison Ford in Shrinking at age 82 is a show highlight!

Happiness is being the first to comment. Yay!!! This really brighten up my day, just as I was thinking and maybe being scared growing older, I can see aging isn't so bad after all. I watched Kathy Bates show she looks great. Misery was really good too. I hope I live to be 97 like Mamá. Have a wonderful last week of November

Thanks for the morning grin. I'm 63 and this has its challenges but it's better than the alternative.

I am so happy to see older actors still in the game and getting such great roles. I’m 83, and just happy to wake up every morning. I love the folks you’ve mentioned and so many more. I cried crocodile tears when we lost Dame Maggie Smith and my fav Betty White. She was one of the best. And don’t forget Angela Lansbury. My adult granddaughter will watch Murder She Wrote for her calming down time. She has ADHD, clinical depression and severe anxiety. It’s her version of relaxation. Mind is the long running British series Time Team. Puts me to sleep every time.

I couldn't comment on your most recent post. Have I disappeared again. Really though, can you see if I'm still a paid subscriber? 🤔 I'm known to be confused.

Both series are very good and should inspire us to slow down only when we want to (or, G-d forbid, have to) and not when someone else tells us to.

I needed to start watching some of those shows. I've been missing out. Kathy Bates in Misery...over the top scary. Misery loves company...not in this case. Yikes!

I just have to say Sally Struthers on Gilmore Girls was one of the highlights of that show for me.
