I remember seeing the video of this young mother trying to protect her babies as they were taken away. It breaks my grandmother heart to hear that they were likely killed as a result of this unprovoked and despicable act by the Hamas terrorists. My heart goes out to the husband and father who has lost his wife and children. Anyone complicit with this atrocity, even if they were not directly involved, is just as despicable as those who kidnapped and killed innocent civilians.

Heartbreaking and infuriating at the same time. The world feels awfully cruel and ugly.

I cannot imagine the anguish the husband/father is going through. Just looking at their pictures breaks my heart. How did two little kids become pawns or martyrs in a war they don’t even understand. 😞

They are at more peace than their Dad/Husband will ever feel again.

I pray for all of them.

Thank you for reminding us (especially those of us avoiding the news). 💔

No, someone doesn't have to be Jewish to understand the anguish, or to be deeply sad for the husband/father. What a beautiful family. Like you, I will hope for their safe return, even if it doesn't sound likely.

I will keep the family in prayer 🙏 Along with all the other hostages being held. I can't imagine what these families are going through waiting & hoping for thier releases. #bringthemhomenow

That this has dragged on this long is completely unfathomable. I can't imagine how painful this is for all the families and friends who are hanging on by a fingernail. And with the Convicted Felon making noise about taking over Gaza, what does that do to the chances of remaining hostages being released in good health? I am so sorry.

No one should be surprised that the terrorists MURDERED two innocent babies. What is surprising is that the world is not SCREAMING FROM THE ROOFTOPS that these terrorists are still in power. Thank you for your beautiful piece.

Kept thinking about the reds while the moronic college students chanted PRO palestinian crap they were spoon fed & agitated by some VERY bad actors! WHERE was the outrage about "the REDS"?? Seem to me that the descent people, who play by the rules, are simply ignored. Most DOGS ARE superior to many people! Especially the maggots.

Thank you for this important reminder. Agree with Alice about the heartbreak and cruelty. Everyone needs this reminder, not just those of us who are Jewish. BTW, Marc Elias’s response to Elon “the musty man child” Musk’s nasty comments about him is a worthy read as well.

I wish there was a crying icon to share here. So Very Sad. May Our Father/Mother God bless them and keep them. May he/she give strength to Yarden today and every day for the length of his earthly life.

Words are not adequate. Thank you for sharing their story. It needs to be repeated over and over. I just can’t even. Heavy sigh of deep dark despair.

I had not heard about them, but I pray, like you, that somehow they are alive. My heart breaks for them and every other Jewish family who had to endure this horrific incident.
