This is going to get interesting. I was at an outlet mall yesterday, and checking the labels on clothing, it seemed everything was made outside the US. I had a hard pass on some nice looking items from El Salvador, but did buy a few tees from India. Prices were, of course, higher than i expected for outlets. Bargains are going to be harder to find, but the lies just keep coming.

Hang in there!

It’s very difficult to manufacture in the U.S. because of labor costs.

Yesterday I saw an interview with a woman from a manufacturing company. She said if she moved her business to the US it would cost her $400,000 to set up a factory here. And that was only for one product. It will get better my ass.

Agreed, plus the costs for facilities, equipment, materials (likely imported), transportation, etc. If Felon47 thinks these industries can just gear up overnight he's more delusional than we originally thought.

I am shopping less. Definitely plan on hitting garage sales if I feel compelled to splurge. I am beginning to "declutter" , seriously do I really need all of the pitchers, china, etc., etc.

I completely agree about purchases. Garage sales are great and so are thrift stores. We all need to be careful with our spending.

They haven’t even had eggs at our Costco the last 3 times we’ve visited. And I haven’t seen the price of anything come down

I let my roots go many years ago because I just got tired of dealing with it. My daughter finally let go during Covid and went cold Turkey. It wasn’t so bad for me cause I went blonde first and my very clever stylist did it gradually. Better than the red I tried first.

A lot can happen in 1,361 days, so to me, it feels better to say it in days instead of years. A countdown feels more doable. But I don’t think he will last that too long. Dementia is becoming more noticeable daily in his constant bragging and whining.

He and his people aren't going anywhere. He is attacking the voting processes so that he will always win. He is redecorating the White House to his likening because he intends to stay; its his house. I don't know what will happen when he is completely insane, will Vance take over? Will the Repubs in Congress grow a spine?

I saw a ballcap at a protest recently that had "Is he dead yet?" written on the front of it! That's something I might splurge on buying and wear it when I walk my dog.
