I have a couple of comments. First of all, I absolutely love weddings under the chuppah!! Watching you go round and round each other is just the best. I hope I can do the same with my children. Secondly, Marlene, if you are a part of the WDNC club (I am a proud member myself), then you know that Botox is not necessary. In fact, even if you are not a member, Botox is not necessary. You are beautiful as you are. Especially to your son.
I’ve thought about it and then decided it took me 66 years of living, loving and worrying to get these lines and wrinkles and I have earned every one!! I’m keeping them.
Your middle son was probably the cause of a few if yours - they should be at his wedding!
Another member of the WDNC, and proud of it. I, too, don't understand why white sparkly Skechers slip-ins are not considered "formal". I figure if I had Botox injected into my face that hates most creams, it would blow up and I would look like I had been attached by an entire beehive. 🫨🫨
It will be beautiful and fun no matter what. Just take the comfy jeans in case the shapewear turns ugly!!! Here's to a beautiful wedding!!! 🤵👰🎉🎉
Weddings can certainly be A LOT! But as the mother of the groom, I didn't have too much to do. Especially with our eldest - that marriage took place in front of a district magistrate with only the required witnesses. They simply didn't want any fuss. The did have a nice little get-together at their home a few weeks later, so it's not like everyone was left completely out in the cold!
Our younger son did have a traditional church wedding, but even that didn't require much. Our joint responsibilities started and stopped with hosting the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding. I did have a small part in the ceremony when both myself and my daughter-in-law's mother lit a candle prior to the vows being spoken.
I don't do shapewear, so that wasn't an issue. It was only four months after my cancer treatments ended, so my hair was very short - and curly! Makeup for me has always been minimal, and I don't do pedicures or manicures. There are some benefits to being low-maintenance!
At any rate, just enjoy the ceremonies and celebrations that are part of the craziness called weddings!
My only tip here, to keep cool, is to get your hair soaking wet.....instant cool off! Guess that won't work in this case. As an EX TX I have had to evolve these habits over my life time. BUT it seems to me that every time I worry ahead of time , what I worry about never happens. I am sure it will be wonderful.
You've had a lot to do! TT as the ring bearer is so sweet. It makes me smile. My husband and I had a civil and a Jewish ceremony too. We celebrate 2 anniversaries. The wedding will be wonderful, Marlene.

Hi Sandy! I'm also a member of the WDNC Club! 🥰
I had to look that up. Yep... I'm a member too.
There is an actual club!! Have you seen Melani?
Yup I’m a fan. Might write about her tomorrow
I just know the wedding will be wonderful. I hope you'll be able to share pictures! I especially want to see your dress and handbag. 😊
Sneakers for the reception? Brilliant. Dance dance dance!
Just imagining little Turkey Baby in a tux makes me smile big! 😁🫶💥💙
About the Botox, filler etc.

LOL!!
Beautiful. I think you should write a piece comparing your dress picking and purchasing experiences between first child and second child's weddings.
Congratulations!!
Thank you!
