Until every last right is taken away, it’s our duty to stand up, fight back and be loud in order to keep the country we have loved and grown up in. We need not only to do it for ourselves but for our future and future generations.
one, stick pins in his hand. I read today that it's very bruised again so people think he might be on an IV. let's hope it's for something really bad. and two, stick it where the catheter is on his leg so maybe it will malfunction. and to be clear, i'm not shaming anyone who needs that. Just him because he's so damn nasty to anyone else who has health issues.
We are pissed off tired! We will be at the protest on Saturday. I think we are going to bring lawn chairs so hubby can sit down when his feet start hurting. Water, snacks, sunscreen US flags, wearing our flag pins and my sign says “I am not a paid agitator.” Hubby’s says, “trump Putins puppet.” We aren’t making new signs just using our current ones until they wear out!
I think Saturday is really just the beginning not the end! We cannot get tired or give up!! That's exactly what he wants. I will be there, my husband will too. He's a Vietnam vet and he's mad and hell. Go on Saturday and every other protest they have. This is our country!!
I have chronic depression and sometimes I feel really down about things. I want my old America back, with all its imperfections, instead of what we have now. We can never undo what he has done. I saw a video from Canada by Charles Austin; he really stomped down on Trump. I hope he saw it. The person behind these ICE tactics is crypt keeper, Stephen Miller. He needs to go; he is deranged. I am going to my local protest. It appears that Trump's actions these past few days trying to cut our freedom of speech and our right to assembly (protest) have really angered people, so possibly, many more people will join the protest. We mustn't forget that the people behind all this mess is the Heritage Foundation. How do we get rid of them? ( I think I'm going to set my voodoo doll on fire)
We feel like it's hard because it IS hard. We can't give up or give in.
If we need inspiration, one thing we can do is look to the Civil Rights movement. Read up on: Fannie Lou Hamer, Joan Trumpauer Mulholland (Joan is on social media), Medgar Evers, John Lewis .. just to start.
Those in this movement worked HARD for a long long time. They were threatened, beat up, jailed, murdered.
I completely understand being discouraged. I get tired. I get discouraged. But then I read about someone like those I listed and I have more resolve.
Our fight may have only begun. We may lose battles here and there. But this is a war we must win.
Anxious and scared, but I'll be out there at my local protest. Sometimes I get disheartened living in red Florida but after taking a risk and attending planning meetings by local groups, I see there are more like-minded people than I thought! We've got to do this! I just watched a sitting Senator from California get tackled, brought to the ground and handcuffed. His "transgression " was asking Kristi Noem a question!!! That bolstered my resolve even more.
Thanks to each and everyone who will be marching on Saturday. Some of us won't be on the streets, but support you with our donations, our phone calls, and our prayers. I chose to donate for bus transportation and porta-potties. Please be praying for terrific thunderstorms and torrential rain in DC on Saturday. Stay safe.
I have stuck a few more pins in around his knees now. And one in his tush. Maybe I will also drag out my knife tomorrow just to elevate the level of pain when so many people show up tomorrow. What’s happening in LA is outrageous, and I hope it further erodes his support even more. Praying for a good turnout.
I am shouting out to everyone attending a protest…the world is with us. They are holding their collective breath, anxiously awaiting our response. I cannot march, can’t walk but short distances. But I am there in spirit with all of you, reminding the world of who we are, not who he wants us to be.
I can't believe that horrible creature is doing this to our country. I'd love to know what any of his not completely crazy maggots thinks of all this. Anybody got one? Can you get him/her to talk! I do (just one) & I'll try.ill report back to Marlene if she answers me.

Completely Agree!
There are 2 protests/rallies near me on Saturday. We NEED to be out there voicing our beliefs. If not now, WHEN? If not us, WHO?
Not just this weekend, we need to have our feet on the ground and signs in our hands.
Of course, be careful out there and be safe.

I’m on it!

Sorry about your depression and lol about setting your doll on fire. I was just stabbing mine
I will be at the Wichita, KS rally on Saturday. We must show up.

When I wrote my comment earlier, I had no idea today was the anniversary of Medgar Ever's assassination.
If you'd like to see a short (1 minute) video, here is Ms. Joan going to visit his grave:

Thank you Marlene, definitely was a much bigger success than trumps egotistical birthday parade.
You are my hero. 🥰
